Best in field

This app has helped me to get my drums sounding fantastic. It doesnt tune them for you, but it is great at what it does, which is give a pitch readout when you tap the head near a lug. It goes easier if you mute the center of the head a bit with some gel or just a light touch of a finger. The Spectrum View is the thing that puts it ahead of its competition, because there are so many overtones on a ringing drum head. Even if the app cant pick out the main one, you can switch to the Spectrum View and see what all the spikes are. Doesnt replace having a good ear, but it sure helps augment and train.
