I think its feature set is attractive, and in the cases where iDrumTune works for you, you may love it. The program could not find the fundamental frequency for my conga when it was tuned up; it seemed I was above the high end of the frequency range. However, it worked nicely for my tumba but it would be entirely useless for a quinto.
I’ll guess iDrumTune uses a fast Fourier transform for the spectral display. There is no reason why the frequency cutoff should be only 250 Hz! Developers, PLEASE address this! It cannot be that hard to change the (arbitrary?) frequency limit!
